How to use do, does and did

Do, Does, Did memiliki banyak kedudukan dalam Bahasa Inggris contohnya menjadi auxiliary atau kata kerja bantu dan menjadi verb atau kata kerja asli. Do, Does, Did dalam verb akan memiliki arti melakukan, sedangkan dalam auxiliary atau kata kerja bantu penggunaan do does dan did tidak mempunyai arti yang tetap. 

A. Do 

Digunakan pada kalimat dalam bentuk present tense, hanya dapat digunakan pada subjek: I you they we atau (2 nama) Santi and Mey. For Example 

1. Kalimat positif

• Santi and Mey do something in the kitchen
• Felis and Kenzo do it

2. Kalimat negatif

• Santi and Mey do not something in the kitchen
• Felis and Kenzo do not it

3. Kalimat interogatif

• Do Santi and Mey do something in the kitchen?
• Do felis and Kenzo do it?

4. (Auxilary) kata kerja bantu

• We do not talk anymore 
• Do we talk anymore?

B. Does

Does digunakan untuk subjek pengganti misalnya she he it or (1 nama) Santi dan merupakan kalimat present tense. For example

1. Kalimat negatif

• She does not cook the cake
• Mama does not play the porkas 😂

2. Kalimat tanya

• Does she cook the cake?
• Does mama play the porkas? 🤣

3. (Auxilary) kata kerja bantu

• Agnes does know me before
• Does Agnes know me before?

3. Did

Did digunakan untuk sesuatu yang sudah pernah  terjadi sebelumnya. masuk dalam past tense.Bisa digunakan untuk semua subjek. For example

1. Kalimat interogatif (tanya)

• Did you go to ria birthday last night ?
• Did you eat the food last night ?
• Did you sick yesterday?

2. Kalimat negatif

• You did not go to ria birthday last night
• You did not eat the food last night
• You did not sick yesterday
